Existing Scenario of year 2000
Population Data for each Union Council is taken from LDA Master Plan 2021 and 2010 Union Council Boundaries from Urban Unit.
Alternate Scenario - 1 (Year 2012)
Existing 9,000,000 population of Lahore District, with a low density standards of 150 persons per hectare with 80% Urban and 20% Rural population, can be accommodated in the existing Urban and rural boundaries of union councils of Lahore District.
Alternate Scenario - 2 (Year 2038)
According to LDA Master Plan 2021, Population of Lahore will be double after 25 years i.e. year 2038 from 9 million to 18 million, if Area remains the same as in Scenario 1 with same urban and rural division, increases the population density to 300 i.e. Medium density according to National Reference Manual on Planning and Infrastructure Standards of Pakistan.
Alternate Scenario - 3 (Year 2038)
According to LDA Master Plan 2021, Population of Lahore will be double after 25 years i.e. year 2038 from 9 million to 18 million, if Population Density remains the same as in Scenario 1 with same urban and rural division, doubles the Urban Area and decreases the Rural area of Lahore District
Alternate Scenario - 4 (Year 2012)
If population density of District Lahore kept same as Modal Town Lahore with 70 persons per hectares, then how much area is required to accommodate 9 million total estimated population of Lahore in year 2012? Another Lahore District Area will be required to accommodate double population of Lahore in year 2038
Alternate Scenario - 5 (Year 2038)
For year 2038, if extra population of 9 million to be accommodated in Four Satellite Towns outside urban Area of Lahore on major spines, with constant Low density population of 150 persons per hectares, the situation will be like this:-
